ITS and the
Thompson Library are pleased to announce the addition of 51 open
computer stations in the
Library. The Library Open Computing Lab originally opened in July 2003 with 24 computer stations. The
seventy-five (75) workstations on all three floors offer a full set of ITS lab applications. Users
may also access the Thompson Library’s homepage
and its resources from these computers.
Networked printing is located on each floor. These workstations help
students make optimum use of both ITS software and library
resources—including library staff.
The workstations, located in the center rows of carrels running north-south on each floor, offer considerable privacy, and should prove attractive places for students to work on term papers and other assignments requiring sustained concentration. UM-Flint faculty and staff may also use the workstations. |

Please log out of the computer that you are using and report to the 206 MSB computer lab. The 206 MSB computer lab has consultants who are able to assist you with any difficulties with printing or using application software. If you need to report a hardware problem with a computer located in the Library Open Computing Lab, please contact the ITS Helpdesk @ 766-6804 or send an email to ITSHelpDesk@umflint.edu.
