Date Presented: 2/22/2006

Semester: Winter 2006

Presenters: Debi Rowden, Sharman Siebenthal Adams

Description: Have you ever received a message from the 'Administrator' that your Mailbox is over the limit? Spending too much time searching for 'lost' emails? We will discuss how to archive and organize/clean up your Inbox. Need to switch from Outlook (PC) to Entourage (Mac) or vice-versa? Get tips on transferring your email account, including folders. Learn how to deal with spam emails and set rules that will help you organize incoming email. If you prefer to use the full version of Outlook while working on your home computer (or laptop), we will demonstrate how to set up the UM-Flint VPN (Virtual Private Network) on your home computer. Remote Access is another method to use to work with Outlook on your office computer while using your home computer or another campus computer (such as a Smart Cart).
